I just had this put together so take this review with that in mind. I thought I could ride the bike while using the handles, and that was one of the main reasons I bought it, but you can't. You'd have to lean too far forward to do so. I will revise this review once I use it.
OK - I have used the machine twice already and I'm noticing also that in order to use the arms standing up, you have to lean very far forward and it is super uncomfortable There's no way to adjust it to a more comfortable position either. I have had other elipticals before and have never had this problem. I can see this affecting my workout. I am 5' 5" tall. It's the same situation with the bike. I have to lean so far forward to grab the arms on the bike as well. Who the heck designed this bike? They need to be fired. I'm a very average woman and this just should not be. The fact that I have to lean forward puts tremendous strain on my lower back. Now this machine is put together (and I spent about $100 on that as well); and to return it is going to be a nightmare but I just cannot use it like this. It will do more damage than good!
